What the site measures
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, countries and device types. It sets no cookies.
- PostHog records the pages people view, what they click and how far they scroll, so we can see which parts of the site are useful and improve the rest. It keeps an anonymous identifier in your browser. IP addresses are dropped before anything is stored. Some visits may be recorded as session replays, with everything typed into forms hidden. PostHog stores this data in the European Union.
- Neither tool is used for advertising. We do not sell visit data or share it with anyone.
When you sign up or write to us
- The weekly email signup, model submissions and disputes use forms run by Tally, which stores what you enter.
- We use your email address only to send the weekly email, and anything else you send only to reply or to correct and add entries on the site.
- Every weekly email carries an unsubscribe link, which takes effect at once.
Controlling what you share
- Block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. The site works without them.
- Use Global Privacy Control or private browsing where your browser offers them.
- Ask us through the contact form to delete anything we hold about you.
How long we keep things
- PostHog keeps visit data for one year and session replays for one month.
- Vercel keeps visit data for its standard reporting window.
- Form entries are kept while they are useful for the conversation they belong to. Signups last until you unsubscribe.
Where your data goes
The services above are run by companies in the United States and Europe, so information about your visit leaves Australia. PostHog data stays in the European Union.
